Tyred By The Wheels Of Evolution
Today was Bank Holiday Monday so of course that meant the weather was cr*p. Today's images were taken on another solo photographic safari to a nearby industrial estate. It was about as exciting as my Bank Holiday got!
My man image is of a local gym called Evolution which has housed itself in a mainly abandoned old industrial warehouse. I've no idea why it has this jumble of detritus outside - including old tractor and HGV tyres, wheels, beer barrels and traffic cones but I really appreciated it for photographic purposes, particularly as set against that rather stark looking tree and the glowering sky foretelling the downpour that would occur just a few minutes later.
The extra is called "No Adventure Kidz" which was the wording stencilled on the back of an old warning sign discarded behind an adjacent metal sign and a chain link fence in a different area of the industrial estate. I liked what appears to be the rather enigmatic wording on the sign against the pops or red, blue and yellow elsewhere in the image.
