Pedigree Lincoln Reds

…on Balcaskie Estate.
The estate is right outside the village. I drove half a mile and parked the car, then we walked for almost four miles through the estate. Mostly tarmac roads, so great surface for walking. Beautiful old trees, bluebells, primroses, violets, and cowslip to be seen. Birdsong was plentiful, with the skylarks at their best. And of course, the cattle which are an amazing colour. I tied Geordie to a fence post on the opposite side to the cattle so I could take some photos, but when they all made their way towards me poor Geordie got very worried and was jumping around barking. Not sure if he was anxious for himself or worried about me.
The mist/fog/haar has stayed most of the day again, but for a brief period it cleared to reveal blue sky and sunshine. I had to open my jacket it got so warm, but it soon closed up again. The sky that is, and my jacket.
