Boy

Celebrations need candles, they need sparklers, but mostly they need a person..... I need cake.

None of that today, no bouncy ball, no little toy car, no football party, no mayhem.

Instead there was an at times sombre video chat, no parcels arrived. There was talk of a future full of hard work and probably no moves, but there was also chat of pints with pals, watching footie in the bar, and buying treats with money sent.

And yet I'm left wearing a party hat and blowing out the candle myself. Happy 26th Birthday my Boy.
