Signs of recovery

At last our bay tree is showing some buds after we pollarded it earlier this year.  We were getting a bit worried as in the past it recovered quickly, as did the cherry tree.
 
 
At extra is my ‘also ran’ of a leylandii ‘flower’.  That’s a hedge that needs some attention.
 
 
Got our COVID jabs this morning, which somewhat disrupted the rest of the day.
