Kerria japonica

There was a lot of this plant in the garden when we first moved in and I thought I'd got rid of most of it several years ago. I'm glad I didn't kill it all though as it's quite pretty and not nearly as invasive as I'd read!

We were out this afternoon playing on the bandstand at Ilkley. We had quite a large audience, helped by the good weather and the fact that it was Sunday Market. We came back home for a well-deserved cornetto in the garden!
