Serenity

Took the dogs to the field this morning to wear them out as they are going to be left later today while we go out for a late lunch with RD, his mum and FM. Stopped off on the way back to get some stones to build an alpine plant rockery in the garden. Quickly went out to the post office to collect J’s parcel, as they now shut at 2pm, very helpful NOT. Went down to the doctors to have some blood taken for some tests and waited for J to pick me up in the sun while reading the final itinerary for our holiday which the company had just emailed out. Nice lunch at the Fishmarket in Newhaven and popped back to RD and FM to see if I could fit the new screw thread to their car tent. Bit of fiddling but it finally went in and seemed to work OK. Walked back to the house as J and her dad had gone back early to see the dogs and passed the allotments on the way. With the sun on them they looked a very tranquil place for the owners to while away some time. Night in watching the qualifying for the GP.
