Pagan ritual

Went up Carlton hill first thing to walk the dogs. There seemed to be some event going on with tents and pagan skulls around the place, turned out to be the Beltane Fire Festival, A Gaelic festival to celebrate the coming of spring. Darwin had great fun finding his rope toy and didn’t see the other dogs which walked by at the top of the road. Headed over to see JD for an afternoon of board games but stopped off to get me new graphics tablet on the way. Had a nice afternoon catching up and playing the new 2 player game based on dog fighting in WW1. Next was a racing game called Heat. Great game based on car racing and a bit better than Formula D that we have, should be a good game for the boys weekend away. Next up was Sniper Elite a hidden movement game that didn’t work well as a 2 player game as there wasn’t any player interaction. Had a final game of Duel with the expansion before I headed home. Pizza for dinner and then watched a relatively boring GP.
