on Inish Beg
which means "little island", it's in the Ilen estuary and reached by an old stone bridge over a narrow stretch of water. There is a country estate there with extensive gardens that are open to the public.
BAT and I went there today to a plant and garden fair. I found some interesting plants that are completely new to me and had a good old chat with a few folk I hadn't seen for a while.
Ten Bat and I had a good look around the state , saw the walled garden, the orchard and the boathouse and had a long walk through the woodlands and along the river bank. Most enjoyable.
