Kibble Palace, The Botanics, Glasgow.

I had hospital appointment at the Golden Jubilee Hospital, Scotland's flagship hospital for reducing patient waiting times. Request made by GP after Easter, appointment offered on Wednesday for today (Sunday). Well organised from start to finish; and in fact, I was taken early.

Later this afternoon we enjoyed a trip down memory lane (for me at least!). We parked near where I lived for a few years and walked through part of the Botanic Gardens, including The Kibble Palace, (photo taken later after closed), and down Byres Road (for coffee and cake). Suitably refreshed, we wandered through some of my favourite bits of the University of Glasgow and enjoyed the views.
