Disappearing field
It was another very misty start to the day as we went to the early morning church service at the local village where I went to primary school and normally I love the view from the car park - the field of oil seed rape should have been bright yellow, however it was atmospheric.
The reason for the early start was that we were co-hosting a street party in the private section of road next to our house. The mist lifted a bit and the sun tried its best to warm us all up. We put up the bunting, cake was enjoyed and it was lovely to have an excuse to meet our neighbours for a few hours.
Two of the youngsters are budding pipers and gave us some tunes and as we cleared up I managed to arrange a photo of the 3 of us who are vets and live only a few houses apart . As the extra shows we span the age range and the lovely C is about to have baby girl number 2 - number 1 is sitting next to us and she certainly enjoyed the occasion.
