Orkney

Today was a day of trying to recover from our long hours of travel and lack of sleep.

It was also a day of unpacking and doing laundry. Even clothes that hadn’t been worn got washed so the laundry seemed never ending.

Just in case there’s anyone who might be a little in doubt about where I went on my vacation, I got myself 3 t-shirts from Orkney. Kent bought me the one that is the Orkney islands mapped using the printed word of the different names of the various areas on each island. I got the gold Orkney islands as I just thought it was pretty and also the stones of The Ring of Brodgar because it was pretty and because it’s very close to where my Dad grew up.
