Colours

Colours and shapes with wide open aperture.....this is the painted stone Lexi gave me at Christmas.  It has sat on my bookcase since then and treasure it.  I didn't have a blip so took three close up photos and made a triptych. 
 
Expecting Janelle and Ella in a hour or so, in time for a roast lamb dinner - I've no doubt they will be exhausted and hungry after their epic three days.

Doug update - he has been up since 1.30am with awful leg pain......but, this afternoon he seems a bit better, even went for a wee and very slow walk this afternoon.  Also, he seems brighter in himself - fingers crossed.
