Moonrise Over Montague Harbor
This morning K and H came down to the dock to show us their "rowing skills"...what fun to see them out on the water in their rowing shell in complete harmony. After they finished, the boys decided to move more wood and split it...where does H get his energy? Bob could hardly keep up:)
Karen and I took some time to watch the birds and get a few bird photos , and then decided to do more art. Karen has made some amazing "flip books" over the years, and I so wanted to learn how to make one, so Karen agreed to show me! We decided we should use our gelli press papers for the pages, and make a simple zigzag book. Luckily Karen had some 4 X 4" covers to use, and some heavy black paper. I learned how to mark and fold the paper, and we spent most of the day creating
our books, (Karen's in on the left) while the boys worked around the property. I really was happy with the book I created and we took some photos to share with you.
We headed for Montague Harbor for the night, as K and H were expecting their family to arrive late in the afternoon from Seattle.
The night ended with a stunning sunset in Montague Harbor, and a
beautiful moon rise coming up over the trees...the clouds lit up and the moon slowly rose creating a beautiful opportunity for photos. Another amazing day!!
