A wintery Try Burn …
….. ….. ….. with an Autumn carpet.
It’s been a very rainy day and quite chilly. We’ve been looking for rain and it was really needed; a good dump before winter sets in. There’s more forecast for tomorrow too, plus even snow on the Crown Range road.
I went round to my daughter’s this morning, to see her, my son-in-law, and not-so-wee any longer, Cora. Seeing her with her tulle skirt over the top of a onesie, plus Red Bands (gumboots), and carrying an umbrella through the rain, is a sight to behold. She chooses all her current day’s clothes. She’s such fun.
Missy & I went for a good walk along the Arrow River, the first long walk for 3 weeks! The Try Burn (where a fossicker tried for gold), is along the Arrow River Bridges Trail.
