Beady eye
We are staying in the small south-coast town of Tathra. Today’s weather was cold and very windy. By afternoon the sun shone fitfully, and I photographed this Eastern Reef Egret.
The cold conditions extend throughout south-east Australia, caused by an intense cold front that passed through yesterday. As it did, lots of snow fell in the high country, including on the aptly named Snowny Mountains Highway. We were driving through at the time - see extra.
