Dark skies this afternoon. Massive thunder and torrential downpour. And then it’s over, more or less.

Nick drives Owen and I to Paulswell for Chris Hutton’s 60th at Alan and Sandra’s. There’s loads of food and lots of old friends. We stay until midnight and sober Nick drives us home, leaving the hardcore to party till the dawn.
