Big Lunch

After last year's Jubilee celebration, we said we should do it again and close the road through the village. 

This year was even better, with live music including the Cake and Wine Choir. I think very nearly the population of our small village came out, as did the sun eventually.

We entered the bake-off competition (extra), but ours obviously looked just too good to win. 
After the results were announced, the compare said 'I'm sure the bakers won't mind if you all come and sample these wonderful cakes'. Of course, the baking kids (and adults) were horrified by that and the cakes were quickly retrieved by their creators.
