3053. Boat to Westerplatte

It’s another glorious day here today and I’m wearing a summer dress and sandals!  Had a walk to a modern shopping centre this morning but not much there so we’re back to the old town this afternoon.

There are several boats that go to Westerplatte but we’ve been before so we probably won’t go again.

We’re off again tomorrow to Toruń on the train and we’re staying there for a couple of nights before returning to Gdańsk.

I might pop into the Amber shop near to the hotel this afternoon as I spoke to the owner this morning as he was putting up two photos of him with Prince William and Katherine who visited the workshop a few years ago, he was so proud that they came to his shop.  He said it had been in his family for 150 years on the same site by the river.
