Just in case

Thought I would treat you to a photo of my feet as I lay soaking in the luxury of a hot bath (not just any bath ,but an old person Radox bath no less!)
Why show you my feet??
For 3 days now I have taken Julie ,who does not drive , to Dumfries hospital to visit her husband Ian, who is rather poorly.
Yesterday,whilst we sat chatting away to Ian, the chap in the next bed thought we might like to see the end of his leg ,so recently cut off just below the knee!!
Now ,I dont know about you , but I'm a bit of a wuss , and no matter how neat a job with dinky cross stitch sewing, it was not my thing!
I very nearly became a prime candidate for A&E there and then!!
By sheer will power alone I managed a wan smile and remained upright!! Made my excuses and a bee line for the loo!
Seems the said gentleman lost the limb as a result of diabetes...........having recently been diagnosed diabetic myself ,it was a sobering thought!
So decided to document my tootsies (which look alright to me!) whilst I still have them, just in case Sweenie Todd is casting about the wards looking for another likely candidate!!
And also I feel sad weesnorrie didn't show her tootsies in yesterdays plaster cast blip.........they are the most spectacular black,blue aubergine, and orange!!
So you will have to make do with my pink ones!
