Liquid Sunshine

A day to celebrate Son G's birthday with a very enjoyable lunch at a local restaurant in a nearby village overlooking the River Yealm Estuary. Unfortunately the weather could not have been much worse with a blanket of fog covering the whole area and spells of heavy rain from time to time. To make matters worse is was low tide. Normally the village on the opposite bank - Newton Ferrers - looks attractive in sunshine with the tide in when there is much small boat activity at weekends.
