More New Life
A and I enjoyed a circular walk at Cley this morning in glorious sunshine and a mild temperature. These cows were grazing on the Cley Marsh pastures and this calf was enjoying a tasty breakfast.
Sedge Warblers were calling from the reed beds but I failed to get a photo without reeds obscuring the bird. We also saw an avocet nesting in a roped off area of shingle on the beach.
The extra is some pretty sea campion which was on the beach margins.
Another sign of spring was the abundance of St. Mark's Flies all over the Alexanders and annoying all those walking along the East Bank. I'm sure they have an important role in the food chain, but it's definitely advisable to walk along with one's mouth closed!
