The big weir at Holm Mills across the river Ness in Inverness. Detour on the way to the pool for a swim. Have swum in the river Ness, though not by choice. That wee orange kayak is not as buoyant as its predecessor that I'd used for ages, it demands a lot more attention, at all times, including when going over the main chute at the above weir.. don't lean back at all.
