Rock saxifrage

Surrounded by some of the beach pebbles.
There is an extra of a will rose we picked at the cliff in Sandycove 3 years ago, it is flowering for the first time this year.
I haven't had the heart to cut down completely my Acer, I fear it is dead. I have given it a really hard pruning to see what happens.
Back to school, back to energetic yet lethargic children.
