If it ain't broch don't fix it

This is Dun Carloway Broch on the Isle of Lewis, an ancient structure used for housing a notable family and possibly for defending land and people during clan warfare.

We made an early evening excursion to the broch, so the light was nice. I was spoilt for choices about what to blip having also been to the ancient Calanish Standing Stones nearby, and spotting an otter gambolling in a loch from there.
