Hoverfly

Others on Blip have recently being doing focus stacked shots so here’s one of a hoverfly. It’s a bit boring and I’m not overly happy with the end result from the software I used (Canon’s horrible DPP 4 (which that gave a better result than Photoshop)) but it is what it is. I should look at proper software really but don’t think this is something I would ever *really* get into as I always find the results a bit uncharismatic and encyclopedia/text book looking.

The camera settings have got lost in the processing… 10 shots at 1/200 sec, f/8, ISO 1600, Canon RF 100 Macro.
