Quiet before the storm….

The weather forecast is pretty grim for much of the country over the next few days. Friend Dawn and I had a busy day with appointments and other chores. We were pleased to have dry weather albeit ominous looking skies from time to time. We took a quick trip to the Taylor Dam to checkout the birdlife. There were few black-back gulls on the water thus a quieter time than other days. Very wet underfoot. Down the road from the dam the leaves on grape vines are rapidly turning from green to gold. Soon the valley will be ablaze with colour.
