Its all about the light!!

This image was taken in the centre of the village, this small ravine is hidden, unless you look over the wall.  I selected this image for today's Blipfoto for several reasons, the texture of the stonework, the tree bark and the quality of the light coming through the leaves.  This is what made me take it, any other day I would just walk straight past.  Funny how you end up assessing the quality of the light, on leaving home today it was the first thing I noticed.
