Sleeping beauty

Today was the first full day of grandchild car. Picked him up at 8:30 and delivered home at 5. Great day, warm and sunny this morning so we walked into the city, opened a savings account for him, had a coffee, bought him a new book and walked home. He enjoyed a play in the garden after lunch and then he obviously felt very sleepy as he put his arms out for me to take him and within ten minutes he was sound asleep on our bed. I sat and read on the bed while he slept. He starts on his back but then turns himself and sleeps just like his mum did 35 years ago.
Hetty had a late walk but seemed to have lots of fun in the garden. We did get heavy rain and thunder while he was sleeping.
I must admit to being a bit anxious about having him all day but it was great.
