Basking

Popcorn and I are enjoying the evening sun in the 'porchservatory'. The first of the geranium phaeum (see extra) have opened today, and the cherry blossom is waning but the crabapple and clematis are looking beautiful.

I really should be gardening but I find myself unable to get up... I'm also enjoying reading The House of Fortune, sequel to The Miniaturist, by Jessie Burton.
