ParkLife!: 2013
A wonderfully warm and sunny ParkLife this year; am sporting sun 'tinge' after loafing about Salisbury's Wyndham Park for five hours, occasionally and officially pointing my Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens at the bright and beautiful, equally sunning themselves and lapping up the super-cool vibes from the three DJ's.
ParkLife has a full DJ decked 'tent' in one corner and as usual, from last year's ParkLife, super-cool Ken 'Neckbone' Johnson came down from London specially and his saxxy tones filled the summer breezes and made it all rather magical.
There's always the usual trade stands doing food, a mighty 'knit-off', kid's area and it all went on until 7pm.
As for an image, well, I always like the power of suggestion and this for me summed it up nicely - loafers as coke-can holders! Colourful, practical and a great snap! I could have posted a lady in a red evening gown playing rugby, the DJ's with Ken tootling in the background, the dancing ladies (THEY know who they were!) but for simplicity and colour, then this is what I'm settling for.
Trust you're all having a great bank holiday weekend and were able to make the most of the warm sunshine (if you had it, that is!).
