Thunder and lightning

.... and all things frightening!!!

It won't be long before these geranium can go outside but not quite yet! They would have been hammered by the rain we had this afternoon.. 

The garden is growing upward by inches every day just now.. and the wisteria is on its way to being in full bloom.. perhaps by the weekend if it remains warm with some sunshine (what's that? don't see much on the weather app till the end of May!)
A quiet day after a wonderful long nights sleep.. woke refreshed and better than yesterday thank goodness and set no alarm so slept guilt free till 8.15 when I heard footsteps on the gravel out front.. immediately I thought it must be builders and leapt out of bed but thankfully it was just a neighbour packing her car. We were not expecting any builders today so were surprised at ten to nine when one arrived.. the electrician thought he was coming to do the second fix along with the plumbers.. sadly both he and we were disappointed on that front.. he will be back at the end of next week to finish finish.. in the meantime I am looking forward to seeing how bright the room will be with the new lights in it tonight .. from one old central bulb to 6 led downlighters.. it should be good!
Watched a wonderful garden design programme on Sky Arts tonight featuring the work of Piet Oudolf.. I would love to visit Scampston Hall in Yorkshire one day
