Liberation Day Cavalcade!

Today Guernsey celebrated 78 years of freedom from German occupation. It’s a time that must never be forgotten and every year we have a day off in the 9th May to remember, reflect and celebrate! The cavalcade consisted of old cars, army vehicles, old tractors, old bicycles (know in Guernsey years ago as Pushangs) I love that name, and even an old bus! It’s been a day of thick fog, showers and late afternoon sunshine but heavy rain tonight when the large firework was on!
