Crabapple blossom

The apples are starting to flower. The crabapples are the best so far. Last year they were disappointing. Some seeds are beginning to show. Radishes and maybe lettuce etc.

Various deliveries arrived. Olive oil in large quantities - enough for quite a while. Cat food - never enough for 11 cats. A 4 litre watering can for inside and outside.

I discretely pruned more apple trees, accompanied by Suella and some chilling tea. I luxuriated in the peace and quiet, witness to a high altitude squabble between a rook and a harrier.

Later I augmented the potato area ready for two more rows and maybe some companion marigolds.

I have just ordered a few varieties of medlar and quince to fill the holes in the orchard.
