A unexpectedly lovely day today. Unfortunately we were  stuck indoors waiting for workmen to appear, which they did on schedule but still it meant we couldn’t go out until lunchtime. We met our friends J and B and walked along  to Calf Close bay , across to Great Wood and then back to Keswick. Tea at the Theatre by the Lake then a beer at the Keswick brewery’s bar the Fox Tap where we bumped into John Gravett and Debs with John’s  son. That was a good surprise! 
After that we had a Haggis supper with quite a bit of malt whisky so we’re more than ready for bed now!
