Soup's on!

Laurie and I haven't been cooking much lately, but once in a while one of us (usually her) will cook up something yummy that we can both eat. She made a big batch of Gypsy Soup the other day and we've been supping off of it. It's full of good things, like garbanzo beans, yams and green beans with a tangy stock that makes my taste buds dance.

From the good old reliable Moosewood Cookbook, one of those hippy bibles from the 80s that still gets plenty of use (when we cook).
