NEW SCHOOL RECORD

The local high school traveled to Cedar Grove for a Track & Field meet today  This is the men's 3200 relay team and they set a new school record...8:44.2

The fella with the baton was the anchor leg and he ran the 800 meters in 1:54.1......that's a very decent quarter mile.  The slowest leg was 2:10.0....still a decent time and the fastest I ever ran it in high school.  Of course, the glaciers had just melted and I had to dodge mastodons...which slowed me down a bit.  lol

The fella 2nd from the left is one of our exchange students from Italy.  He's a natural born runner....beautiful stride.  He's also the only one who will not be back next year as he will graduate.  This team will only get better as the fastest runner wasn't even present today....dunno why.
