Wet, wet, wet

What a miserable day. It chucked it down most of the day and we also had some thunder and lightning.

I was watching out of my office window at the end of the day to try and time a dash for the car when it let up a bit.

I managed that ok and then had the fun of getting home and avoiding all the bits of the journey that were flooded. There were a few hairy spots but not as bad as Ottery and Exmouth way which was totally flooded in spots.

One of our branch libraries sprang a leek again - always does in torrential rain! We can’t wait until that building has a refurb.
