Under the Arches

I took this shot on Saturday and wasn't sure what it was going to be. Then in todays Newspaper there was a article about it. If it had been warmer I would have gone back down and took a another shot for todays blip... but it was so cold I never went out side!

This was the ground where the Crowne Plaza once stood and the Summer Pallet Pavilion has been there all summer and was to be pulled down this month but people what it to stay longer.

The arches are for new Christchurch market.. The new arcade well be built at an angle across the site to follow the diagonal route of Victoria St into Victoria Square. It all sounds very interesting and I well keep you updated on the progress

There is a strange looking sky at the moment, snow is on its way.
