Paris
Another half day on the hop on buses around Paris today, sightseeing, but we were unable to continue, as the buses all stopped because of demonstrations Re Family. There were Police everywhere, vans carrying them, sirens going, and Police well equipped on corners. There were four demonstrations in different areas, all eventually converging at the Champ Ellyses. I heard on the news late tonight that over 100 people were arrested.
We had a lunch of seafood at a Greek restaurant, which was very nice.
We have sat at a cafe, eating a crepe, and supping on a coffee, and watched the world go by for a while. Have done some window shopping, and even watched the filming of a wedding on the steps of the Mandeline. Finished the day by going to the movies again, and once more we believed that we would be listening to French, but it was in English. Amazing. Best movie I have been to in ages - Mud. A must see in my books.
Well tomorrow we will be packing our bags, having a last look at Paris, and then flying home in the evening.
