The First One

This is the first poppy flower to appear in our garden this year…we usually get hundreds of them. They grow pretty much anywhere…they are almost a weed, but a very welcome one.

It was blowing around alarmingly in the wind…so I opted for a high shutter speed..and let ‘Auto ISO’ take care of exposure….

I did manage to get a couple of loads of washing dried outside this morning, before the inevitable rain arrived at lunchtime…
