High water

It was a beautiful, clear sunny morning after last night's heavy rain.  By lunchtime clouds were gathering and thunder boomed late afternoon. 

The river is high. It has submerged the towpath and is inching up the bank (right side of blip)

Managed a very quick afternoon dog walk before the thunder.

My subscription of The New European arrived today.  Much better than hoping there will be a copy in the shops.
