Fingringhoe nature reserve

A lovely sunny day. One shower teatime.

Spoke to my friend early this morning as we went out for the day to Essex Wildlife Trust nature reserve at Fingringhoe.  Took longer than we thought because of traffic but arrived and had coffee/cake before taking a wander.  We heard lots of and finally saw a nightingale, beautiful song but too quick to get a photo.  Also saw lots of butterflies, various flowers and birds, so peaceful and great looking out over the saltmarsh to the river. Had sandwich lunch and then a further walk, a brilliant day. Lots of extras
