Baby, It's Cold Outside

The rain from the north has stopped and the cold from the south has swept up to us.  After having my hair cut I drove out to Rabbit Island to get a wider view of the snow.  The wind was chilly and today is my first time in jeans and a sweatshirt.  The forester is out with the tramping club and they are going south to Lake Rotoiti so it will be interesting to  hear how low the snow is there.  
No blips for two days due to one lack of a subject and two feeling shaky and under par after having a flu shot.  I have never reacted to a vaccine  before but there is a first time for everything I guess.  Back to normal today.
