Move Day!

Today was a tad on the stressful side.

The removal men were 1.5 hours late and then there were only 2 men rather than the planned 3. We had only 3 wardrobe boxes, rather than the requested 6 and at the end we struggled to get everything in the van.

I had to just laugh when the removal guy asked - "Do you need to take everything or is anything optional?".

Steve explained we needed to leave the property empty so yes. everything had to go.

Later the guy kept asking with everything he moved:
"Is this coming?"

I eventually went to wait in the car as it was getting a wee bit stressful.

I got the kitchen and clothes unpacked in the evening and then captured this shot from the top of the landing - this is down all 3 flights of stairs. Quite a drop so imagine our stress at Casper trying to use the banisters to get up stairs rather than the stairs themselves!
