Sausages

Lots of them! Mums away, celebrating a significant birthday, and riding a MTB event, with some girl friends. So Dads home alone, with the kids.

Leisurely morning, involving pancakes. Then swimming, then home.

And then off to Bunnings (the local hardware store) to do our hour "on duty" cooking sausages to help raise money for scouts. First time ever I'd done it, and it was actually pretty interesting. Adam was "sales and accounting" and did a great job selling sausages ("get your yummy sausages here" he chanted) and taking the money. Hannah and I cooked. We were 'the team" and totally had it sorted. Cooked around 150 sausages in an hour. Awesome.

Then off to drop Adam at a birthday party, and finally Hannah and I headed home. A quiet afternoon. Then we cooked a birthday cake, a yummy dinner, and watched a movie. Really nice time together.
