Yay for Colder Weather…

My animals love the advent of chillier weather. Especially when I load up and get the wood fire stove lit. The mat in front of the hearth is like a magnet. Myrtle’s fur is thickening up and she is turning into a rotund fluffy ball. She was first to stake a place on the mat this evening.
Denise and Harry the spoodle and Julie with little Rosie, her schnauzer, and I with Maisie braved the pouring rain, thunder and lightning early this morning. We had a great, though damp walk in spite of the rain.
