A Blue Barrelled Goose & The Art Of Contemplation

I got a bit bogged down with household stuff today so I didn't get out for a walk and a blip opportunity until mid-afternoon.
If you're going out in the car in our local area in the afternoon you have to really time it well to take into account the traffic - there's an oasis of calm between the schools coming out (we have two schools nearby) and rush hour. Time it wrong and the journey ends up taking twice as long. On this occasion I managed to time it just right.
Talking of an oasis of calm, I decided on a quick trip back out to The Friars (our local Carmelite Priory) for my stroll, which I have mentioned before is my happy place for some contemplation and peace and quiet (it seems it is for others too - as seen in my extra of the two ladies who appear lost in thought as they stop for a moment on the Rosary Way, a path around the grounds of the priory).
My main image was just because I thought it must be time for another goose image! :-) I liked the way the markings of this Canada goose contrasted against the large blue barrel and the sweep of daisies in the background.
