Kampung Tridi

Over night train to Malang, seats comfy and lots of space which made it a easy journey. Hotel let us in early so a shower then headed out. Initially in search of a laundry but all seem to have closed, decided to head back to hotel and dump the washing. 
A grab taxi down to the rainbow village which  was a students project years ago to help pr the slum. They painted all the houses different colours added murals. A lovely place to wander around and get away from the busy roads.
A quick swim back at the hotel watching a thunderstorm. A nice tea at a Vietnam/Cambodia restaurant which had a Ankorwat feel to it. Sorted the next few days trips and accomodation.
