Sunshine and showers

Drove back from the garden centre today, dark clouds over wales and and trees and hedgerows were lit up, love this time of year with so many shades of green. Everything is growing so much!
I removed three wheel barrows full of the dreaded ground elder from the garden. It will come back and the cycle will start again in 7-10 days. But I found out that you can eat it! Like spinach. I might try, but given you cannot buy it in the shops and spinach seems to be the preferred crop I am not convinced of its gourmet properties. But if it’s nice I’ll keep us fed all summer!
