Backlit meconopsis

After a wonderful sleep at Ailish and Danny's flat, at 7:30 this morning I set off home again by tube and train.

The weather seemed to improve with every mile we covered, and by the time I reached Edinburgh I was determined to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. So, after I unpacked, Mr hazelh and I took a walk along the Rocheid Road to Stockbridge* and back through the Royal Botanic Garden. I couldn't resist blipping these backlit blue poppies.

Following last night's awards ceremony, I'm delighted that Beth and I are currently gracing a page of the British Records Association's web site!

* Three much-needed bargain charity shop summer tops purchased.

Exercise today: walking (15,244 steps).
